In fact there are many jobs within non-profit business that are competitive in paying their employees and in some areas can pay them better then a profit business can. Non-profit does not mean that the business does not turn a profit, it just means that most of the profit usually goes back into the business to improve the company and pay employee wages.

When looking to find non-profit administrative jobs that pay well it is important to look at the company itself and compare wages to other jobs in the field. Don’t forget to compare more then wage or salary. You should also look at long term pay increases, company paid insurance and retirement plan to find the best job. Non-profit jobs that pay well will probably have a low turn over rate, so look for high employee satisfaction and for few job openings not related to growth or an employee being promoted.
